An Arrogant, Murdering Spirit Attacking the People - by Rev. Patryse Brown, M.A., M.Div.

Houston Chronicle, An Arrogant, Murdering Spirit Attacking the People - and the Need to Repent by Rev. Patryse Brown, M.A., M.Div., (Candidate, D.Min.) Grace Abounds (An Organization of Pastors for Social Justice, Helping Individuals to Achieve the Greatness God Intends for Their Lives, and Building Lives by the Spirit of God) ---------------------------------- The murdering spirit of Satan is attacking the people - and Satan's murdering spirit will not be driven out, until by the Spirit of God, the people stand up and drive Satan out. May the Lord Stir the People to Continue Standing Up Forgiveness does not mean being complacent. Leaving vengeance to God does not mean sitting idly by (or patiently by) while Satan devours you, feasts on your children, and sifts you as wheat. Fighting back does not mean you are vengeful, violent, or non-peaceful. Fighting back means you are resisting evil. Satan is on a murdering rampage attacking the people - and he will not stop until he is crushed and cast out. Smiling into the camera and 'forgiving" the spirit of Satan after he shoots your children in the back is not going to put a stop to Satan. The satanic spirit of evil has to be cast out. Look at the example of the Jewish Maccabees noted in history. The Jewish Hammers. The name Maccabees is said to be derived from the Hebrew word for hammer. They are called the Maccabees because the Jews struck back like a hammer to cast out the spirit of Satan that was attacking the Jews and their temple. The current ruler, Antiochus Epiphanes IV, was butchering the Jewish men and putting the women and children into slavery. Antiochus, then, attempted to wipe out their Jewish religion. He sent out a decree to put a stop to the Jewish Sabbaths, the Jewish festivals, and their circumcisms. When Antiochus ordered a priest to sacrifice pigs in the Jewish temple, the priest killed the man who brought the order. A revolt ensued, led by the Priest and his sons. The Jews united behind the priest and his sons and drove out the spirit of the antichrist that was brought on through Antiochus Epiphanes IV. Today, the Jews celebrate this victory as Hanukkah. You can not sit idly by in an incorrect adaptation of "peace" while the spirit of the antichrist ravages the people. Keep standing up! How to Stand Up Submit yourselves to God, and God will lift you up. (James 4:1-10) It is only by the Spirit of God that you will be able to resist Satan. It is not flesh and blood that you are fighting against. It is the spirit of Satan, itself. Human force can not overpower Satan. You require the Spirit of God. (Ephesians 6:10-19) The Department of Justice can only accomplish so much; the Department of Justice can not cast out the Spirit of Satan Every man and woman humble himself and herself before God and repent. Then, individually (or collectively), ask God what is the appropriate offense. It may be that, sometimes, physical force will be appropriate. Yet, other times, other types of force may be appropriate. Allow God to guide you. God, previously, has utilized various methods of force to destroy the spirit of Satan. Read the Bible. Do not allow Barak Obama to define for you what is appropriate to resist the spirit of Satan. Barak Obama and any others not facing your danger - and who are living in safe environments with their families - will have different opinions about how to resist this current evil of police (and others) rampantly murdering men, women, and children in certain communities. After You Repent, Be Creative: God will utilize all of your combined gifts, talents, education, ingenuity, efforts, and ideas - however, ultimately, it will be God who casts out this murdering spirit of Satan attacking the people. Why do the people have to repent when it is the people who are being attacked and murdered? Because, the people, themselves, are not without guilt. The people have to wash their hands of their own guilt, and turn to God (repent), before they can raise their hands up to God to cry to God for help. (Isaiah 1:15-20) Isaiah 1:15-20 15) When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood. 16) "Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, 17) Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow. 18) "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. 19) If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; 20) But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword"; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken. The people are being devoured by the sword; therefore, the people need to repent. The refusal to repent will only help Satan to continue on his rampage. Humble yourselves before God and repent. James 4:1-10 1) Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? 2) You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3) You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4) Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5) Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"? 6) But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." 7) Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8) Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9) Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. ----------------------------- Repent: It is time for the people to return (or to come) to Christ. The time is short. How to Repent: Ask God to forgive you of your sins. Have faith that Jesus is the only Savior who died to pay the price for your sins. Then, turn away from your sins, begin reading the Bible, and begin obeying God's word. Rev. Patryse Brown, M.A., M.Div. (Candidate, D.Min.)
